On Monday, November 19th, we received an email from the Hood to Coast staff notifying us we have been accepted to run in the 2008 Hood to Coast relay. This race starts on Mount Hood and continues 194 miles to the Oregon Coast. Each team must complete the relay in about 30 hours or less and most teams consist of 12 runners that run a total of 36 legs in the event.
The committee for Team Plumb Crazy met on Wednesday to start planning the event. We have nine months to train and plan for the race. Some of our members will need all nine month to get ready for this grueling event.
The purpose of this blog is to tract the progress of Team Plumb Crazy as we prepare for the race.
