Today was the first day of my new Smart Coach training schedule. The goal is to be ready to run a 1/2 marathon by June. If my body can hold up I think I'll be in good sharp for the Hood to Coast Relay. I'm having some knee trouble and I'm currently trying to "train through it". Enough about my problems.
Today my run was a 6 mile run at 10:42 pace. I actually ran 6.132 miles @ a 10:11 pace. Since I've been running faster times, I found it hard to run at this pace. The program is the program and I'll stick to it as close as I can.
Jonesy, me going nuts has nothing to do with training.
