I spent last night at my mom's in Orlando, FL and figured out a loop route of approx. 4.5 miles and was up and running at daybreak. It was beautiful in Orlando and I plodded my way past ponds and a couple of geese. Despite landing approx. 30 minutes late tonight I got home and ran my standard 3.1 route as the sun setted. The second run was easier than the second.
One last footnote to Saturday's Hoya and the Hare 5K. I also had a soccer game at 1:30 and Terminus FC recorded a very solid 2-0 victory over another strong team. I was whipped the balance of Saturday and pretty washed out last Sunday.
I think I'm hooked.
I have Discovery this Saturday, but will try to go for a run this Saturday afternoon.
