Well teamates, its was a wonderful day for those that showed up for the ATC 5k/10k. All I want to know is, where were the rest of Plumb Crazy? Even despite a horrid loss for Ga Tech, Goldsmith still showed with a belly full of choclate deserts. To make matters worse, the temperature was around 50 degrees and windy and Tom didn't hesitate to wear his wifes shorts. Now that's dedication! You will notice the
numbers that we are wearing which designate the run we chose.
I had a personel goal to finish the race in 24 minutes. Well, I didn't reach my goal. I did however finish in 26:52. I'm not sure of the exact distance of a 5k, but I'm pretty happy with that. Tom ran the 10k in 44+ minutes. We know who our #1 seed is of the team. Sorry I didn't have my mouth wide open in my finishing picture Richard...
My new years resolution is to be at 7 minute miles by the time we begin that horrible 196 mile relay. Also, I will be dieting constantly and working out 4 days week along with my running. I went to the gym today and did triceps and chest. After that I finished up with a breif 2 mile run in 19 minutes. Not my best time, but I took it easy after the race yesterday.
Lets keep it going Team Plumb Crazy!
